We recently had the opportunity to chat with Story Monsters Ink® magazine Editor in chief, Cristy Bertini. During our conversation, she talked about Story Monsters, how it’s doing and where it’s headed. Cristy started Story Monsters to provide a platform for independent authors, publishers, and kids to showcase their work and talents. Now, Story Monsters magazine is taking off!
Cristy is joining us to talk about several programs at Story Monsters which are dedicated to helping authors of all genres strive for excellence through their marketing and publicity services, Kids Can Publish program for students ages 17 and under that inspires youngsters to read, to learn, and to even write their own stories, which could be published in the magazine.

Cristy Bertini is the editor-in-chief of Story Monsters Ink® magazine – voted as one of the great magazines for kids and teens by School Library Journal. Bertini began her career as a journalist, food columnist, and copy editor for Turley Publications Newspapers and moved from there into the world of book publishing. During her career, she has edited over 50 titles for five different publishers. In 2016, Cristy was awarded The Irwin Award for Best Editorial Director by Book Publicists of Southern California. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and currently resides in Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
