The Reading With Your Kids Podcast’s mission is to help all families grow closer through reading together, and cooking, exploring and drawing together. We decided to ask some of the amazing illustrators who have been featured on the podcast to teach us how to draw some of the characters in their books. We like to watch the lessons through first, then grab a pencil, crayon and paper and start to draw. We always pause the video after each step so we can take our time and have fun drawing together. Our illustrators would love to see you finished project, so with your parents’ permission post your art on Instagram and tag us @readingwithyourkids and the illustrator so we can see you great work!
