Our first guest is Amanda Rowe, author of a soon to be released picture book titled “If there never was a you”. Amanda shares some interesting facts about her fun, simple, loving read-aloud for children to share with their parents.
Our second author is Nadine Poper, one of our past guests and author of two funny children’s picture books featuring Dachshund dogs: Dachshunds in Moccasins and Weenies in Bikinis. She is here to talk about her latest picture book Frank Stinks!

Amanda Rowe has been writing since she could hold a pencil, but she only became a mother about fifteen years ago. That was the beginning of her greatest adventure; an adventure filled with laughter, tears, victories, mistakes and entirely too much talk about bodily functions. Despite the challenges, Amanda wouldn’t change a thing. Okay, maybe a few things, but she’s delighted that her children were born, and she wanted them to know it, so she wrote If There Never Was a You. She hopes it will help little ones all over the world understand how loved they are, and how they enrich the lives of those around them.

More about Nadine Poper
Nadine is also an elementary librarian for an urban PA school district. She has been an elementary school teacher for 16 years in reading before changing gears to become a librarian. She is also a foster home for Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue and often donates portions of her sales to the rescue. Surrounding herself all day with books and children to share them with is the best way to spend time for Nadine!
