More Than Just a Performer
Before his stage debut Jed Doherty was a licensed certified social worker working in the Massachusetts Juvenile Justice System. Jedlie is proud to be a member of Clowns Without Borders, bringing laughter, healing, and hope to children in refuge camps and crisis zones around the world.
He is also the creator and host of the Reading With Your Kids Podcast—a multi-award-winning show with over 2,200 episodes and millions of downloads. The show was nominated for the iHeartRadio Best Kids & Family Podcast Award and features interviews with hundreds of beloved children’s authors, including LeVar Burton, Kate DiCamillo & Danica McKellar, along with hundreds of educators, and literacy advocates.
