A Beautiful reminder That Love Never Dies
Goodnight Star, Whoever You Are is a delight. While driving home after spending a wonderful day at the beach with his mom a young boy senses he is being followed by a star in the sky. Disturbed, he asks his mom why the star is following him. He is surprised when his usually down to Earth mom tells him that she disagrees with the scientific explanation and prefers to think that the star that follows us is one of our passed loved ones watching over us.
This is a wonderful book that would be a welcome addition to any family library. It would be especially helpful for any child, or adult who is struggling to cope with the loss of a family member, friend, or favorite pet. The illustrations are perfect and feel like a warm hug.
FINAL VERDICT
All in all, it’s an entertaining and fun read. We can’t wait to read more from Jodi Meltzer.
