In Conversation with youngest published authors in US history, Emily V. Bastien & Alessandro Reale
Hey there, Welcome back to the iTunes #1 kids & family podcast!
We have a special episode for you today. Our first guest today is a 9-year-old children’s book author Emily V. Bastien. Yes, you read that right.
Emily is one of a kind. She began reading at the age of four and at just seven-years-old, she wrote and published her first book – Aqua Tales. Her passion and persistence made her book Aqua Tales a reality. Emily has published her second book for children It offers practical ways to build courage and find strength even in danger.
Our second guest is the author Alessandro Reale. Alessandro started writing as early as six years old. His first published book, Dodger’s Doorway, was inspired by his love of fairy tales and fantasy adventures. His novel Return to Storyworld, the message is to learn about forgiving yourself and to not dwell too much on your mistakes or the past.
His latest book ‘Only One Samantha’ is a children’s coloring storybook about a girl named Samantha who enjoys dressing differently from everybody else. The story shows the value of being unique and always being true to yourself, no matter what others say.

Alessandro ‘Alex’ Reale lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he works as a content writer and inventory management specialist for a tech retailer. In 2011, he published his first book, a young adult fantasy entitled Dodger’s Doorway. Currently, Alex is working on several sequels for Dodger’s Doorway and another book series revolving around historical artifacts.
