Hello everyone, Years ago, it was rare to hear about a child with type 2 diabetes. But now, according to the CDC, more than 208,000 people younger than 20 have this disease. In this episode, we get to chat with Fayth Thomas, author of  a charming and informative children’s book Being the Best You! This book talks about caring for people and finding out what you want to be when you grow up. Fayth Thomas is an experienced day-care owner. She lives in the Washington, DC, metro area with her kids, her husband, and their pet fish. Before she started writing children’s books, she specialized in teaching children various things: healthy eating, Spanish, gardening, self-defence, and reading. She specializes in writing a line of books that will educate children with fun bedtime stories.
