MEET the Author & Illustrator: George Neeb

Hello everyone and welcome back to another interesting and fun filled episode of the Reading with your kids Podcast! Today, we feel incredibly lucky to be interviewing George Neeb, author and illustrator of a fascinating picture book about Ancient Egypt for young readers titled Pharaoh’s Arrow.

George have taught Elementary school in Canada for over 25 years. He enjoys history, art and travel. In our exciting interview, we discuss his first picture book Pharaoh’s  Arrow, Inspiration behind his book, His publishing journey, Next project & more. Listen in as George shares his experience of illustrating the book in Egyptian style as he wanted the illustrations to look like actual papyrus paintings. We fell in love with this gem of a book instantly and so will you!

George NeebGeorge Neeb lives in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He has taught elementary school for over 25 years and especially enjoys teaching Visual Art. He can usually be found walking along the Grand River, travelling to new places, learning about history and art, spending time at his cabin by a lake, and enjoying his family.
