Meet Maggy Woodley, founder of “Red Ted Art” & author of “Easy Paper Projects”

Crafter and kids’ author Maggy Woodley is on the #RWYK #Podcast to celebrate family fun. Her new book Easy Paper Projects is filled with great project ideas that your family can create together. We all know the benefits of reading together. Maggy believes that there are also many benefits of creating together.

Maggy Woodley is the creator of the crafts blog Red Ted Art. Her crafts have been featured in Good HousekeepingReader’s Digest and Brit + Co. She lives in London, England.

Welcome!Maggy Woodley created Red Ted art in 2009 to bring easy, doable and low-cost Arts & Crafts to families and teachers. It has since grown its reputation and popularity and expanded to YouTube and Teachers Pay Teacher’s Store. She has written two books – the first aimed at the whole family from preschool to teens, the second, a Paper Projects based books aimed at 8yrs+. The Easy Paper Project books are based on simple materials (ie paper) and aim to teach children skills, techniques but also confidence. Once the children have mastered them, they are encouraged to explore and create their own crafts. Maggy lives in the UK with her husband and two children.
