This book is very special to us as this is the second book that we’re reviewing in the Itty Bitty Series and we can’t thank Victoria enough for sharing her wonderful books with us.

Nana and Itty Bitty hold a very special place in her heart and this book is a tribute to them. Itty Bitty…Is That You? is the second book in the Itty Bitty series written by Victoria Martin and illustrated by Caitlyn Knepka. It is a delightful and an entertaining read that takes the readers into the world of a beautiful and very large Newfoundland dog called Itty Bitty, who lives with her owner, Nana, in a wonderful little town called Maplewood, NJ.
In this story, its spa time for Itty Bitty! She’s excited to spend the whole day with her favorite groomer getting the special treatment! She can’t wait to visit and play with her friends. Her day goes perfectly up to the point when it’s time to go home. Nana almost takes Itty Bitty’s best friend, Gracie, home by mistake. Will Nana be able to identify the real Itty Bitty? Read the book to join Itty Bitty and Nana as they share their adventure.
In this engaging outing, Victoria presents an adorable, thoughtful, and thoroughly entertaining canine. This book has a lot of humor and objects that stand out to children to keep them interested. It was everything that one would expect from a dog in a pet spa-silly, funny, and a little mischievous. This is a great picture book for children of all ages. The plot is hilarious and the illustrations were captivating. The colors that Caitlyn chose a match that of the luxury pet spa feel and really make Itty Bitty’s adventure come to life.
Itty Bitty…Is That You? is a great picture book for parents and grandparents to read to young children. This lovely, simple story is short. The cute illustrations add to the interest. And you have to admit, Itty Bitty is an awesome name for a dog.
Final Verdict
A cute picture book with ample action and humor to sustain repeated enjoyment. Anyone who is a dog lover will enjoy this story. If you can’t get enough of this lovable duo, follow them on their adventure in Itty Bitty wouldn’t Budge, the first book in the Itty Bitty series which shows a day in the life of Nana and her 145-pound Newfoundland dog, Itty Bitty. We would recommend this book for children in the kindergarten to third-grade ages. Looking forward to the next book from Victoria!
