In Conversation with Nayera Salam, Author of WOODLAND FAIRIES

Hello everyone,

It is with great honor that we introduce you to Nayera Salam, an award-winning children’s author based in Atlanta, Georgia. Nayera has written four delightful children’s picture book titled Go Away Bad Mood, A Cat and  Mouse Pact, Big Elephant Fritz and the Tiny Ants & Woodland Fairies. Her recent picture book Woodland Fairies came out in January 2018; it’s a stunning portrait of connecting with nature and it’s beautiful creatures, perspective, and being a human.

Nayera SalamNayera Salam has a Master’s degree in Education from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and more than thirty years teaching experience.

She is now retired and lives in Atlanta with her husband. She has two children and is the proud grandmother of two granddaughters.

“I have been writing stories in my mind for a long time…It seems like the characters ‘create’ themselves. I just write down what I get from somewhere. This applies to all my stories.
