Hey everyone! Joining us today is author Cheryl Lawton Malone in a one-on-one conversation with our host Jed Doherty. Cheryl has written a wonderful warm book for children titled Elephants Walk Together that portrays a loving relationship between two elephants and emphasises the importance of friendships over time through ups and downs. It gives the message of hope, love and patience.

When Cheryl Lawton Malone isn’t meeting whales or training dogs, she spends her time thinking about elephants and other animals that need help. Cheryl is a freelance writer, poet, and MFA grad who teaches at Lesley University and GrubStreet in Boston. She and her husband live in Massachusetts. Bistra Masseva is a freelance illustrator based in Brighton, UK. She attended the Bulgarian Academy of Arts where she studied book design, typography, and illustration. She was recently long-listed for the 2017 Folio Illustration Award.
