Max and Tucker,5-year-old Australian Shepherd brothers, were headed to the woods for an early morning walk on Easter Sunday when they were met with a surprise. This is the true story of two dogs, Max and Tucker and how they helped rescue, foster and find a forever home for two little-abandoned puppies.  Lily& Lucy, beautifully illustrated by Emely Pascual, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University, is a heart-warming story about being rescued by those that you set out to rescue. Proceeds are donated to the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. They are a non-profit animal rescue organization saving the lives of thousands of homeless and abandoned pets each year. They rescue dogs and cats facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters and place them for adoption in loving homes. All their animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
